Terms & Conditions.

The promoter is Epic Hair Designs, referred to in these terms as Epic Hair Designs or the Promoter.

Unless the specific competition states otherwise, entrants must be legal residents of Queensland, Australia and must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

Where entry takes place through Instagram or another social platform, entrants must have a valid account on the relevant platform and comply with the entry instructions.

Employees, agents and immediate family members of Epic Hair Designs, and employees or agents of collaborating partners directly involved in administering the competition, are not eligible to enter unless the specific competition terms state otherwise.

Entry must be made in accordance with the instructions published for the relevant competition and within the stated competition period.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, entry into Epic Hair Designs promotional giveaways is free.

Entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, submitted outside the competition period, do not comply with the published entry method or otherwise breach these terms may be excluded.

Epic Hair Designs may take reasonable steps to verify the identity and eligibility of an entrant or potential winner.

For competitions decided by chance, eligible entries will be included in a fair random draw. Unless otherwise stated, one winner will be selected using an appropriate random selection method.

The winner may be contacted using the email address, phone number, social media account or other contact details associated with their entry.

Unless the specific competition states otherwise, the selected winner will have 48 hours from notification to respond and claim the prize.

If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is found to be ineligible, does not respond within the claim period or cannot accept the prize, Epic Hair Designs may conduct a further random draw and select an alternate winner.

Epic Hair Designs may collect personal information provided as part of a competition entry, including an entrant's name, contact details, social media account information and other information required for the relevant competition.

We may use this information to administer the promotion, confirm eligibility, contact entrants or winners, arrange prize fulfilment, maintain required competition records and meet legal obligations.

Where a prize is supplied or fulfilled by a collaborating partner, we may provide that partner with the personal information reasonably necessary to verify or deliver the prize.

Entry into a competition does not by itself authorise a collaborating partner to use an entrant's personal information for unrelated marketing. Where marketing consent is sought for Epic Hair Designs or a collaborating partner, this will be communicated as part of the entry process or another appropriate consent process.

Where you consent to receive Epic Hair Designs marketing communications, you may withdraw that consent or unsubscribe in accordance with the instructions provided in those communications.

Personal information is otherwise handled in accordance with the Epic Hair Designs Privacy Policy.

The prize for each competition will be described in the relevant competition announcement or entry material.

Unless otherwise stated, prizes are not transferable, are not redeemable for cash and cannot be exchanged for another product, service or credit at the winner's request.

If an advertised prize or part of a prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside Epic Hair Designs' reasonable control, Epic Hair Designs may substitute an item of equal or greater value where permitted by law.

A prize supplied by a third party may also be subject to the provider's own reasonable terms, booking conditions, availability, expiry dates or usage restrictions.

Where a prize includes an Epic Hair Designs product or service, collection or redemption will be arranged with the winner and is subject to reasonable salon, stylist and appointment availability.

Unless otherwise stated for the individual competition, prize components must be collected or used within 6 months of the winner being drawn.

Failure to use or collect a prize within an applicable validity period may result in the unused prize being forfeited, subject to applicable law and the specific terms of the promotion.

Epic Hair Designs may announce a winner using information reasonably necessary to identify the winner, such as their first name, Instagram handle or general location.

A winner may also be invited to participate in reasonable promotional activity relating to the competition, such as a photograph, interview or social media content.

Where additional use of a person's image, likeness or submitted content requires consent, Epic Hair Designs will obtain or rely on the appropriate consent before that use.

Epic Hair Designs may reasonably modify, suspend or cancel a competition where it cannot be conducted as planned because of circumstances outside its reasonable control.

This may include technical failures, fraud, tampering, platform outages, unauthorised intervention, safety issues, natural disasters or other events that affect the fairness, security or proper conduct of the promotion.

Any action taken will be subject to applicable law and will be designed, where reasonably possible, to preserve the fairness and integrity of the competition.

Epic Hair Designs is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete or not received because of technical failures, platform outages, internet or telecommunications problems or other circumstances outside its reasonable control.

To the extent permitted by law, Epic Hair Designs and participating prize partners are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from participation in the promotion or use of a prize.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, an Epic Hair Designs competition conducted through Instagram or Facebook is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram, Facebook or Meta Platforms.

Entrants acknowledge that information provided for the competition is being provided to Epic Hair Designs and any identified collaborating prize partners, not to Instagram or Meta.

Questions or complaints about an Epic Hair Designs competition should be directed to Epic Hair Designs rather than Instagram, Facebook or Meta.

These Terms & Conditions and competitions conducted under them are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia and applicable Commonwealth law.

If any provision is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision may be severed to the extent necessary without affecting the remaining provisions.
