Founded in 2008 by Brendon Mann, Epic Hair Designs has grown from a single Brisbane salon into Queensland’s largest luxury hair salon group, with 18 state-of-the-art salons across Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Known for our world-class blonding, balayage, cutting, and styling services, we’ve built a reputation as the salon of choice for clients who want expert colourists, premium products, and a truly personalised salon experience.

Community Commitment
We believe in giving back to the communities that support us across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and beyond. Epic Hair Designs has raised over $1,000,000 for Women’s Legal Service Queensland through our annual Epic Walk for Domestic Violence fundraiser. We also actively support local charities like Orange Sky, Share the Dignity, and The Carers Foundation. Additionally, we partner with events such as the Brisbane Festival and Brisbane Racing Club to bring creativity, fashion, and culture to our city. Each of these efforts reflects our commitment to making a positive impact beyond the salon.
Education & Excellence
Nicole oversees the day-to-day operations of the Academy, supporting apprentice and student progression, developing training programs, and leading a passionate team of educators committed to delivering high-quality, industry-focused training.
Through ongoing education, workshops, hands-on practical learning and masterclasses, apprentices are equipped with the latest techniques and industry knowledge across cutting, colouring, blonding, balayage, styling, men’s grooming and more.
At Epic Salon Academy, education is centered around real salon experience, industry standards and creating career-ready stylists who are supported, inspired and empowered to grow throughout every stage of their journey.

Epic Walk for DV Fundraiser
The Epic Walk for DV is an annual community event led by Epic Hair Designs, raising vital funds and awareness for Women’s Legal Service Queensland. Each year, thousands of participants walk in solidarity to help break the cycle of domestic violence and support women and families in need.

Brendon Mann – CEO & Founder
Brendon Mann is the visionary founder and CEO of Epic Hair Designs, Brisbane and Gold Coast’s powerhouse hair salon brand founded in 2008. Since opening the first Epic Hair Designs salon in Kenmore in 2008, Brendon has revolutionised traditional salon practices to build a thriving group of 18 salons.
Shayne Wright – General Manager
Shayne Wright is the driving force behind the day-to-day success of Epic Hair Designs. As General Manager, Shayne oversees salon operations while supporting, mentoring and developing our managers, senior stylists and teams across the business. Passionate about people and growth, she plays a key role in building strong salon cultures, developing future leaders and ensuring the exceptional standards and client experience that define the Epic brand are consistently delivered.
Nicole Gislingham – Operations Manager
Nicole is our operations Manager, whose role is to oversee the day-to-day operations of Epic Hair Designs and the Salon Academy. She works closely with salon managers, educators and teams across the business to support operations, monitor apprentice and student progress, develop training programs, and lead and guide the Salon Academy Educators. Nicole always starts her day with the intention of making a difference.
Linda Seeto – Accounts & Payroll
Linda handles the Accounts & Payroll for Epic Hair Designs and plays a vital role in keeping our business running smoothly. Overseeing our 18 salons across Brisbane and the Gold Coast. With so many moving parts, her attention to detail, organisation, and calm approach are essential to supporting our teams and salon leaders every single day. She’s always ready to assist, problem-solve, and support our team.
Emma Willemsen – Head of Marketing
Emma Willemsen is the Head of Marketing for Epic Hair Designs, where she supports the growth and success of the business. With a degree in Journalism and industry experience, Emma brings a thoughtful blend of creativity, strategy, and storytelling to everything she does. Specialising in brand building, digital marketing, and community engagement. Emma leads campaigns that connect authentically with clients while strengthening Epic Hair Designs’ position as Queensland’s leading salon group.
Carlee Hay – Director of Philanthropy
Carlee Hay leads philanthropy at Epic Hair Designs, ensuring our 18 salons across Brisbane and the Gold Coast continue to make a meaningful impact in the community. She drives fundraising initiatives such as the Epic Walk for DV. Carlee’s role strengthens Epic Hair Designs’ reputation as Queensland’s most community-minded salon group.
