Professional hairdressing
Technical skill matters. We invest in education, professional products and continual development.
Since 2008, Epic Hair Designs has grown from one Brisbane salon into a privately owned group of 18 salons across Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
What has grown with us is the part that matters most: our commitment to great hairdressing, education, our people and the communities that have supported Epic along the way.
Epic Hair Designs was founded in Brisbane in 2008 with a simple idea: create salons where exceptional hairdressing, strong education and genuine client care could exist together.
Today, Epic is one of Queensland’s leading privately owned salon groups. Across our salons, Academy and support teams, our focus remains on giving clients access to highly trained professionals in modern, welcoming salons while creating meaningful careers for the people who work with us.

Brendon Mann founded Epic Hair Designs in 2008, opening the first salon in Kenmore.
The business grew by focusing on professional standards, strong salon leadership, education and creating an experience clients would want to return to.
Rather than operating as a franchise, Epic has remained privately owned. That gives the group direct oversight of salon standards, education, culture and the client experience across every location.
Explore our awards and media ↗General Manager Shayne Wright plays a central role in the day to day leadership of Epic Hair Designs, supporting salon managers, senior stylists, apprentices and teams across the group.
That investment in people is fundamental to Epic. When our teams are supported to grow in skill and confidence, our clients feel the difference.
