Fundraising & financial support
Our salons, clients and partners help us raise funds for community organisations, while Epic also provides direct sponsorships and financial contributions to causes we believe in.
For 18 years, Epic Hair Designs has grown alongside the communities of Brisbane and the Gold Coast. As our salons have grown, so has our responsibility to use our people, skills and resources to make a meaningful difference.
Giving at Epic is not one annual event or one charity partnership. It includes fundraising, sponsorship, volunteering, pro bono hairdressing, advocacy and long term support for organisations doing important work across Queensland.
Our clients are a huge part of that story. Again and again, the Epic community has turned salon visits, fundraising events and shared causes into real support for people who need it.
In 2026, Epic Hair Designs received the Queensland Community Foundation Board of Governors Award at the Queensland Philanthropy Awards, sponsored by Queensland Public Trustee.
Queensland Gives recognised Epic’s long term contribution through donations, sponsorships, fundraising, in kind support and advocacy across domestic and family violence, homelessness, period poverty, cancer research and the arts.
The award belongs to the entire Epic community. Our team, clients, event partners, sponsors and supporters have helped turn good intentions into genuine impact.

The Epic Walk for DV brings together our team, clients, survivors, families, businesses and community supporters to raise funds and awareness for Women’s Legal Service Queensland.
What began as an Epic initiative has grown into a much larger Queensland community event. The purpose remains simple: help ensure women and children experiencing domestic and family violence can access free legal and welfare support when they need it.
Our salons, clients and partners help us raise funds for community organisations, while Epic also provides direct sponsorships and financial contributions to causes we believe in.
Hairdressing itself can restore confidence and dignity. Our team volunteers professional time and skills through programs including Orange Sky haircuts and community events.
We also support the arts, fashion, theatre and major Queensland events, giving our stylists opportunities to contribute their creativity beyond the salon.
Our community relationships take different forms, from long term fundraising partnerships to salon collection points, pro bono services, event support and direct financial contributions.
WLSQ provides free legal and welfare support to women and children experiencing domestic and family violence. It is the major beneficiary of the Epic Walk for DV and one of Epic’s most significant long term community relationships.
