Last year, Women’s Legal Service Queensland answered 13,397 calls to its Helpline. Founded nearly 100 years ago, La Boite Theatre is Australia’s oldest continuously running professional theatre company. As part of their 2025 centenary celebration, they staged a special play-reading series—La Boite Encores—featuring ten iconic plays from their archives, including In Beauty It Is Finished, Prize Fighter, boy girl wall, Holding the Man, The Narcissist, Single Asian Female, Zig Zag Street, The Matilda Women, X‑Stacy, and Black Chicks Talking rnrnEpic Hair Designs was honored to support this milestone with a $30,000 contribution, helping bring the very stories that shaped Queensland theatre back to life through these intimate readings. Every year, our Epic Walk for Domestic Violence brings together hundreds of staff, clients, and community members across Brisbane to raise awareness and vital funds for Women’s Legal Service Queensland.rnrnSince its beginning, the walk has grown into one of Queensland’s most impactful community events, helping us raise close to $1 million to provide free legal and welfare support for women and children escaping violence.rnrnFor our team, the Epic Walk is more than a fundraiser — it’s a symbol of solidarity, hope, and the belief that together we can help break the cycle of domestic violence in Queensland.

QPAC – Queensland’s flagship performing arts hub – has long hosted world-class theatre, music, and dance at venues like the Lyric, Playhouse, Concert Hall, and Cremorne. As QPAC’s supporters, Epic Hair Designs is proud to pledge $30,000 over the next three years toward the Glasshouse Theatre, their fifth venue opening in 2026, enhancing facilities for live performance and cultural growth rnrnWe believe in sustaining the arts and are thrilled to help create a venue where stories will truly come to life on stage.

Orange Sky is an Australian charity providing free mobile laundry, warm showers, and genuine conversation to people experiencing homelessness. Their mission is to restore dignity and hope through simple acts of care.rnrnSince 2016, our Epic Hair Designs team has joined Orange Sky in Fortitude Valley every second Friday, offering free haircuts alongside their services. Epic Hair Designs is a proud supporter of the Carers Foundation Australia which provide unique wellness programs to support the emotional, physical, and mental well-being of unpaid carers of the community.rnrnThrough supporting the Carers Foundation we aim to provide a personal touch and care through the hair services we offer complimentary to Australian Carers. Founded by Rochelle Courtenay Share the Dignity is an Australian Charity bringing dignity to homeless, at-risk and those experiencing domestic violence through the distribution of sanitary items and funding of funerals.rnrnEpic Hair Designs was one of the original partners with Share The Dignity and we continue to support them today with the annual bag drive and our salons collection points for sanitary items.

The Kenmore Bears Sporting Club is one of Brisbane’s fastest-growing junior Australian rules football clubs, nurturing more than 350 players aged under 8s to 17s in a welcoming, family-oriented environment. At Epic Hair Designs, we’re proud to support this local community by supplying jerseys for the team and occasionally pampering players with salon visits. Because supporting grassroots sport and young Queenslanders is part of our community’s story.

The Mount Gravatt Bowls Club is one of Brisbane’s Premier Bowls Clubs with an eight rink, all weather undercover bowling green and an outdoor bowling green.rnrnLocated in the heart of Upper Mt Gravatt, the club welcomes everyone who would like to play bowls or just have some fun with friends for a game of barefoot bowls! Our Epic team visit the women’s team at Mount Gravatt Bowls Club twice a year to host a lunch filled with giveaways and raffles for the ladies!
