Queensland Theatre’s Pride & Prejudice returns to the stage in 2026. This much-loved romantic comedy will bring Jane Austen’s iconic story back to life for Brisbane audiences.
At Epic Hair Designs, we are proud to support Pride & Prejudice Queensland Theatre through our long-standing partnership with Queensland Theatre. For almost 10 years, our team has helped bring productions to life through professional hair styling.
Adapted by Wendy Mocke and Lewis Treston, the production will play at the Playhouse, QPAC from 10–26 July 2026. It will be directed by Bridget Boyle and Daniel Evans.
Following a sell-out season, this Matilda Award-winning production is back by popular demand. As a result, Pride & Prejudice Queensland Theatre is set to be one of Brisbane’s most anticipated theatre events of the year.

Why Pride & Prejudice at Queensland Theatre Is a Must-See
At the heart of Pride & Prejudice is Elizabeth Bennet. She is clever, spirited and independent. She also refuses to let society decide her future.
When Elizabeth meets Mr Darcy, their first impressions are far from romantic. However, as the story unfolds, sharp wit and social tension give way to one of literature’s most famous love stories.
This Queensland Theatre production celebrates the beauty of the Regency era. At the same time, it keeps the story fresh and engaging for a modern audience.
From ballroom scenes to quiet moments of misunderstanding, every detail matters. In addition, the costumes, movement and hair all help create the world audiences see on stage.
Epic Hair Designs Supports Pride & Prejudice at Queensland Theatre
At Epic Hair Designs, we are proud to have been partners with Queensland Theatre for almost 10 years. Through this long-standing partnership, our team has helped support productions through professional hair styling.
Hair plays an important role in theatre. It helps define a character, set the time period and support the visual style of the production. For this reason, hair is much more than a finishing touch.
In a production like Pride & Prejudice, presentation is especially important. The story is set in a world shaped by society, romance and elegance. Therefore, each hairstyle helps tell part of the story.
A refined upstyle can suggest status and tradition. Meanwhile, a softer look can help express youth, romance or vulnerability. Every detail works together to bring the characters to life.

Supporting Brisbane’s Creative Community
Epic Hair Designs CEO and founder Brendon Mann has always been a strong supporter of the arts. Since founding Epic Hair Designs in 2008, Brendon has built a salon group with creativity at its heart.
For Brendon and the Epic Hair Designs team, supporting Queensland Theatre is about more than hair. It is also about supporting Brisbane’s creative community.
The arts bring people together. They create emotion, spark conversation and give audiences a chance to experience powerful stories. Because of this, Epic Hair Designs is proud to support the people and organisations that make live theatre possible.
As a Brisbane-born business, we value these creative partnerships. They allow our stylists to use their skills beyond the salon floor. In turn, our team gets to contribute to some of Queensland’s most memorable productions.
