A precise colour care finish

A small serum with a very specific job.

At Epic, Colour Lock is our name for the salon service using Goldwell Dualsenses Color Intensive Conditioning Serum. Goldwell created it to help maintain colour between salon visits and bring out colour luminosity.

Its MicroPROtec Complex is designed to distribute care ingredients quickly and evenly. Luminescine technology transforms non visible UV light into visible light, which Goldwell says contributes to magnificent brilliance.

Goldwell is the brand. Dualsenses Color is the range.

Colour Lock Serum is the professional treatment service your Epic stylist applies in salon. It is not permanent colour, a toner or a structural repair treatment.

Your basin experience

Activated, applied and left in.

Colour Lock fits naturally into the wash and treatment part of your appointment. Your stylist considers the colour, condition and service before using it.

01 Prepare
Wet or towel dried hair

The serum is used after the hair has been prepared for treatment and styling.

02 Activate
Shake the serum

Your stylist activates and shakes the professional single portion before application.

03 Apply
Work through and leave in

The serum is distributed through the hair, then styling continues without rinsing it out.

When Colour Lock makes sense

For clients who want their colour to keep looking luminous.

Colour Lock is most relevant when colour maintenance, shine and conditioned feel are the priority.

01 Colour

Maintain vibrancy

A professional colour care finish for blonde, brunette, copper, red and other salon colour results.

02 Light

Amplify luminosity

Luminescine technology is used to help bring out the visible brilliance of coloured hair.

03 Feel

Condition without complexity

A quick leave in treatment that fits within the basin experience and prepares hair for the finish.

Colour care is not the same as damage repair.

If strength, breakage or deeper damage is the main concern, your stylist may recommend K18, Olaplex or Kérastase Fusio Dose instead. Sometimes more than one hair need must be planned across your appointments.
