Share the Dignity is an Australian women’s charity bringing dignity to the homeless, at-risk and women experiencing domestic violence. The charity launched to assist the many homeless women and women in domestic violence shelters in Australia who had to face unthinkable indignities during their monthly period. It began by donating sanitary items to women who were in situations where they could not afford them. Rochelle Courtenay is the Founder of Share the Dignity and is most proud of her title “Pad Lady”, this title came about and stuck while she collected over 1.1 million packets of pads and tampons across Australia over 3 years.
