Epic Hair Designs is proud to announce the success of our inaugural Epic Giving Gala, which raised over $50,000 to help women who have been impacted by domestic violence.
The glamorous evening was held on Saturday, April 30th at the Victoria Park Marque in support of Women’s Legal Service Queensland (WLSQ) to advocate for the rights, safety and justice of women.
All funds raised were donated directly to WLSQ to provide legal assistance for women who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault and complex family situations. The event was a great success – for every $50 we raised will provide 30 minutes of women’s legal help.

“This Gala alone raised more than $50,000, which we could not have achieved without our generous auction item donations, raffles and supplier donations.”
“Our corporate and philanthropic partners, clients and community fundraisers answered our call with generosity and compassion. The Epic team of hairdressers, apprentices and office staff have worked tirelessly to raise funds and awareness since we started our mission in September 2021.”
Thank you to everyone who came and demonstrated that the community is willing to band together to make the world a safer place for all victims of domestic violence. These events not only raise money, but they also raise awareness so women who are exposed to unsafe environments know what services are available to them.
