Epic Hair Designs requires Hair models at our very own

Salon Academy at Ascot 

The Salon Academy is Epic Hair Designs very own learning space where our Apprentices come to learn all things Hairdressing in a fully simulated salon environment.

Supervised by experienced Trainers who also work as qualified Hairdressers in one of our Epic Hair Salons.

The Salon Academy is open Tuesday – Friday as per session schedule below.

Please Note:

Whilst every attempt will be made to achieve your dream hairstyle, our apprentices are in training and will be restricted by time and experience, therefore some colour and cut work may not be achievable on the day. All models will be advised prior to proceeding what is achievable and what is not.

We do charge a small fee for our Colour and treatment services at the Salon Academy to assist with covering costs.

You can book for 1 or more of these services. Of course, as the students are learning then depending timeframes as to whether all services will be carried out on the day.

Semi/Demi/Permanent/Grey coverage or High lift colour

¼ head foils-The partial or 1/4  head service is generally placed along the hairline and down the part line.  Perfect for someone who wants subtle colour around the face or to create lightness when they tie their hair back.

The students will practice eyebrow waxing, eyebrow tinting and eyelash tinting. You can have 1 or all of these services on the day.

The hair will be Blow dried afterwards for you

FAQ's for hair-models-required

We are much more than just hairdressing.

As this is a training environment, services will take longer than usual, and patience will be required. Times will be noted on the website.

All services will be done at our Epic hair designs Salon academy in Ascot, Racecourse Village, 188 Nudgee Road,

There is a small charge for all of our Colour, Highlighting and KKT and treatment services. Prices are displayed in each session and a quote given prior to the commencement of the service.

All models can purchase retail and will receive a 25% discount.

As much as we love to meet your friends and children, we unfortunately do not have the space in the training environment to enable us to meet all health and safety requirements and Covid19 restrictions.

Yes, please shampoo your hair the day PRIOR to your appointment at the Academy. All models must arrive with clean dry hair. (except with Keratin Smoothing Treatments, this is done on the day of service)

Only the services required for the students training needs will be offered on the day.

There is free and unlimited parking on site at Racecourse Village.

As the students are learning, extra long hair will not be suitable. Shoulder length hair or a little longer if the hair is fine is best.
