In the hairdressing industry, establishing a presence and maintaining growth is no easy task. However, this journey has been nothing short of remarkable. From humble beginnings in 2008 with our first salon in Kenmore, to proudly standing as Queensland’s fastest-growing salon group with 16 thriving locations across Brisbane and the Gold Coast, our story is one of determination and dedication to our craft.
The journey from a single salon to a flourishing network of 16 locations has been a testament to the relentless hustle and visionary leadership of our epic team. Through strategic expansion, unwavering commitment, and a deep understanding of our clients’ needs, we have carved a niche for ourselves in this competitive industry.
Behind every milestone, there’s a story of hard work and unwavering support from our dedicated staff and loyal clients. This is what has helped propel us forward, year after year. Each salon represents not just a place for hair services, but a hub of community.
“We pitched ourselves as a mid-range luxury salon and that has worked,” says Brendon Mann – owner and CEO of Epic Hair Designs. Along the way, we have picked up a swag of awards including the Courier Mail’s best Brisbane hairdresser for 2023 and Australian Hair Industry Awards 2020 title for State Salon of the Year.
Three years ago, we established a training academy at Ascot, providing a fully simulated salon environment, supervised by qualified stylists and trainers. “We are very proud to have trained almost 570 Apprentices since we began sixteen years ago – that’s a massive boost to our local hairdressing industry as well as a positive impact to metro and regional employment,” he says.
As we celebrate our 16th anniversary, we want to thank you – from our talented stylists to our loyal clients – for your tireless efforts and unwavering commitment to our community. No matter how much we expand, one thing will always remain the same: our commitment to making every client feel truly epic.
