We’ve taken a trip down memory lane to showcase some of Friends most iconic, history-changing hairstyles including, of course, The Rachel which remains a popular salon-style request. In case you weren’t aware, after months (or, at this point, years) of rumors and anticipation, the Friends reunion of our dreams is going to become a reality. It’s only fitting that we pay our respects. So here’s a reminder of the good, the bad and the crazy hairstyles worn by Rachel, Monica and Phoebe. If these feathered layers, 90’s curtain fringes and kooky pigtails don’t make you feel nostalgia, we don’t know what will.

We had to feature this style first, it changed history people! And it’s still highly requested in salon today.

The main cast will reunite, revisit the set, have surprises, and share behind-the-scenes footage, but they won’t be portraying their original characters. They’ll simply be appearing as themselves.
HBO Max explained in a statement, “Lastly, in order to avoid any misunderstanding about what this special is, we want to make it very clear that this is not a new, original episode of the series. The cast will be appearing as themselves, not as their beloved characters.”
