Epic Hair Designs and Women’s legal service QLD are raising funds to support Domestic Violence victims.
With your support, Epic Hair Designs are Raising Funds For Victims of Domestic Violence. Our goal is $100,000! We will add $1 to your final bill to help support women in need. Our Brisbane and Gold Coast salons bring women together. We provide services to allow you to feel amazing inside and out. We want to give back to our supportive community. In particular, women who need it most who experience Domestic Violence.
Approximately one in four women experienced domestic violence by an intimate partner throughout their life. Moreover, a recent national survey of domestic and family violence agencies revealed fears of a “shadow pandemic” of violence during COVID-19 lockdowns. Your support could not come at a better time!
Having been a prominent figure in Brisbane and Gold Coast communities since 2009, Epic Hair Designs are asking for your help. If you are living with someone who uses domestic and family violence, control, or abuse it is important that you start creating a safety plan. This might include Calling the police if you are in immediate danger. This could include leaving the house for “exercise” in order to contact friends, family, or support services. Please also be aware of changes to the local services due to Covid-19.
