One box for me, one box for her. Help us share the dignity.

This August we are continuing our support of the Australian charity Share The Dignity. We need your generous donations to help this struggling community of Brisbane. In case you’re not familiar, Share the Dignity provides sanitary products to homeless women and fights for victims of domestic violence.

On any given night in Australia, 1 in 200 people are homeless. 44% are female. 27% are children under the age of 18. Family violence is the number one reason people present to homeless services. In those difficult times Share The Dignity provides pads and tampons to those suffering . Next time you visit us in salon keep in mind: one box for me, one box for her. Imagine how many boxes you will be able to drop into your closest collection box during our #Dignitydrives

When you donate sanitary products to Share The Dignity, you’re donating much more than sanitary products. You’re giving a woman experiencing homelessness or financial crisis the essentials, so she doesn’t need to choose between food and dignity.

Each of our 15 Brisbane salons will be supplied a Pink Box provided by Share The Dignity Sheroes and Heroes where sanitary pads and tampons can be dropped off by the public and will be collected at the end of the month.

We are asking our clients to get involved with this drive and bring along a donation to their next appointment. You dont have to be an Epic Hair Designs client to make a donation, we welcome donations from everyone in the public who would like to get involved!
