Wildé uses the latest technology in the progressive hair and beauty industry to create natural-looking good quality hair extensions.

What sets Wildé Beauty Hair Extensions apart is an easy and streamlined application process. A full head of Wildé Beauty Tape Extensions is applied in 30 mins by our hair extension specialists. The tapes are made of 100% Remy Human Hair which is the highest grade of real, human hair. The cuticles of the hair are kept intact. They are also not stripped and align in the same growth direction in order to mimic how human hair grows out of the scalp. This means hair extensions look undetectable when applied and hair remains silky, shiny, and tangle-free.

Wildé Beauty Hair Extensions are pre-taped with USA made adhesive with a stronghold that lasts 6-8 weeks. Wilde Beauty Hair Extensions are available in 10 on-trend colors including Balayage variations available in 20-inch and 24-inch lengths. Our tape extensions are single drawn meaning each tape contains multiple lengths of hair mixed into the extensions. This means the hair is thickest at the top, tapers in the middle, and is thin on the ends resulting in a natural and blended look for all hair types.

Looking After your Tape Extensions

Tape extensions are incredibly easy to apply and remove, resulting in minimal to no damage. Wildé Beauty Hair Extensions are so comfortable our clients have no issues with sleeping or styling hair into a bun or ponytail. Tape extensions are also easy to care for – just use a shampoo and conditioner recommended to you by your stylist. 

 

How to Care for Wilde Beauty Hair Extensions

We stock a range of shampoos, conditioners, and detangling hairbrushes to keep your extensions looking their best. Book your maintenance appointments every 6-8 weeks. This is where tapes are removed, hair is washed and tapes are replaced in hair. You may also choose to color or tone your natural hair to refresh your look and match your tapes. If cared for correctly, our hair extensions will last 6-12 months.

Consultation and Appointment

Wildé Beauty Hair Extensions come in an array of 10 colours with 3 balayage options available. In order to colour match, a complimentary 15 minute consultation is required before a hair extension application appointment can be booked. Your stylist will educated you about the application process, pick the correct colour to best match your desired result and also discuss any colour work to your natural hair in order to create the perfect base for your hair extensions. 

Please arrive with clean and dry hair, your appointment will constist of colour work (if you have decided to colour your natural hair) and commence with your hair being dried and straightened for easy application of the tapes. A full head will take 30 mins to apply. Once tapes are applied, your hair will be cut and styled.

Wildé Beauty Tape Hair Extensions are available in all 10 colours in 20” inches and selected colours in 24” inches lengths.

Yes, make your appointment into the salon with clean hair and no products used. Alternatively, your stylist can book you in for a wash and blowdry prior to the application to ensure beautiful results.

We do not recommend perming Wildé Beauty Tape Hair Extensions, as they have already undergone a lengthy chemical process.

Wildé Beauty Tape Hair Extensions require 72 hours to create a bond with one another, so we ask that you do not allow your hair to get wet, do any strenuous exercise or wash your hair during this time.

We do not recommend the use of Keratin products either before application or on Wildé Beauty Tape Hair Extensions, as either can cause slippage of the tape, or cause brittleness in the hair itself. Keratin can also create a build-up on the hair shaft, inhibiting the adhesion of the tape to the natural hair.

Whilst wearing Whilst wearing Showpony Hair Extensions, we recommend avoiding products containing citrus extracts, oils including Moroccan or Argan oils, silicones or their derivatives, protein or keratin-based products and products containing a high alcohol content. This includes any medicated or toning shampoos and tanning products. Using these products may cause tape slippage or discolouration to your Hair Extensions. Some chemical based sunscreens may also cause discolouration of your Hair Extensions and may void your Showpony warranty., we recommend avoiding products containing citrus extracts, oils including Moroccan or Argan oils, silicones or their derivatives, protein or keratin-based products and products containing a high alcohol content. This includes any medicated or toning shampoos and tanning products. Using these products may cause tape slippage or discolouration to your Hair Extensions. Some chemical based sunscreens may also cause discolouration of your Hair Extensions and may void your warranty.

This is often due to the use of high heats on your Hair Extensions. Hot Showers, Hair Dryers on maximum temperature & Hot Irons being run over the upper portion of the Hair Extensions will speed up the natural deterioration of the adhesive. If you notice the adhesive becoming sticky during wear, use Deep Cleansing Shampoo to remove and Showpony Residue Remover to clean during your regular reapplication.

Remy means all the cuticles are intact and aligned downward in the same direction as your natural hair. This means that you are always brushing in the direction of the cuticle therefore the hair is less likely to get tangled or matted.
