4 Hair Trends for Summer 18′

Bored of Balayage and tired of Top Knots? Why not try a new look for the warmer seasons ahead

  1. Grey Hair

This look is so on trend and definitely not for the faint hearted! Super feminine and ultra-chic; from shimmery silvers to subtle greys with pretty pastel undertones, there’s a grey look to suit every skin type and your stylist can work with you to pick the perfect one. Bleaching the hair first creates the best result. Keep in mind this is a high maintenance look, but so worth the effort.

  1. Extreme Side Part

Super sleek and very versatile, the extreme side part is the perfect way to spruce up a boring pony. Think a side part and go even further towards the ear, this look is ideal for a neat and polished work day do, or for a dramatic and sexy look for a night out. Keep it tidy using a good quality hair tie and hairspray and finish off using a shine spray.

  1. Pastel Locks

Pretty swirls of candy colours or a full on unicorn mane, the possibilities are endless when it comes to pastel locks. For a low maintenance look, try chunky highlights underneath or subtle highlights through the bangs. Like the grey hair look, a bleached base returns the best results and a full head of pastel colour is little more high maintenance than regular colouring. Speak to your stylist about on-going treatments to keep the colour bright and hair feeling soft and healthy.

  1. Braids

Can’t quite commit to bleaching and colouring? Try your hand at braids; they are playful and super easy to master. Tussled and textured hair makes for a great base to create messy, beachy looking braids. Braids can also make for a sexy evening look either in a sophisticated up-do or low and loose with soft complementing curls. Remember, braids are always a little easier to craft when hair isn’t freshly washed.
